World Book Day 2023

World Book Day this year is on Thursday 2nd March and the theme is 'Reading for Pleasure'. We will be focusing activities around this, but also celebrating diversity and individual liberty by reading some fabulous picture books about hair. We are asking that children come to school dressed in clothes that show their own diversity and individual liberty, but by also rocking a fabulous hairdo that expresses who they are! 

We would also love it if you could join your child - either at the start or the end of school day - to enjoy a book, and simply read for pleasure. At the end of the day, each child will be given a book voucher which they can exchange in most supermarkets and books shops for a free book where you can both continue to enjoy reading for pleasure at home.
